Life has been busy lately but I needed to take time out to post a link to FREE YARN.
Lori, from Beneath the Rowan Tree, is being generous today and giving away yarn via drawing!
You have several chances to win and you don’t need to have a blog to enter.
While I’m tempted to keep this little secret to myself, I’d also like an extra chance to win, lol!
The dyer is JuliBeans and she does beautiful work!
Please visit her BLOG to enter.

Hi!
I was wondering if you show what your homeschool day looks like? How do you get to everybody? What books etc are you using? That would be such a blessing if you could find the time!
Thanks!

Jen,
I’ll try to put this at the forefront of the “to do” list – maybe next week or not long after? I think it may actually help an awful lot as if you were to walk into my house, we would NOT be all seated neatly at the table, heads bent studiously, all furiously writing with pencils in hand!! I think this is a serious misconception of homeschoolers and it’s NOT what our day looks like. Most likely you’d find Ana reading somewhere in a corner, or the two of us talking about something, cup of tea in hand. Christian would be reading a piece of a book, copying something, and working on garden plans! Liz & Rebecca would read science and history back and forth to one another, give me a narration, and then set up a market on the playstands for a bit, serving Abby, Sarah, & Tim. Tim would vary his time between inside and working on the wood in the backyard with Legend!
I broke my camera this week and so it shall have to wait just a bit as nothing is as much fun without pictures, lol!
